Join Us In Helping Veterans

Your generous donation of time, talent, or funds will insure we can continue our mission of care, advocacy, and support for veterans.  We provide various services, programs, and resources to help them overcome the many challenges some face, and helping to create a "Better Life" for them and their families.  

You can support the mission in various ways either virtually or in person: 

• donate Uber Eats Gift Cards to provide meals to caregivers taking care of our heroes at home  
• donate to services for transportation to veterans’ doctor appointments  
• donate monthly or yearly to a program you support  
• corporate partnership aligning your company with the heart to help veterans  
• mentor, trainer, speaker for various programs and events  
• emergency housing funds to help keep veterans off the street 
• participation in a “Veteran Muster Group” to provide an outlet for veterans to gather, share, uplift, and feel good together

A few of our programs are: 

• The Johnny Edwards Scholarship Fund for STEAM Education for children of veterans  
• Holiday Care for Caregivers to provide food and other needed supplies and services to caregivers and veterans  
• Military Maintenance for Veterans (MMV) provides repairs, maintenance, and modifications to homes of disabled veteran   
• Transitional to Supportive to Permanent (TSP) housing prevents homelessness for veterans, while at the same time preparing them for a permanent, stable home

  We also have special campaigns and events periodically where volunteers of all ages can participate. 

There are three ways you can “Join Us In Helping Veterans”. 

1. Make general donations to assist us in our mission, or specify where you want your funds to go.  

2. To volunteer, contact us to talk about what you would like to do. 

3. Join as a San Diego NABVETS member and continue to serve veterans and the community (you can join with a credit card by filling out the application below, or download the PDF application and mail it with a check, cashier’s check, or money order to the address on the application).  We look forward to meeting you!

(Our organization uses Zeffy - zeffy.com.  Through them, 100% of your membership fees and chapter dues are allotted to us.  To be able to do this for the organizations they support, Zeffy asks for a small donation from you.  You do not have to donate to them if you don't want to.  We are not privy to that information).
